Bark: thickness 0.5 ~ 1.0cm, hard, easy to fall off the big block. Gray-brown to gray skin; relatively smooth surface. Endothelial brown; bast fibers more developed; granular stone cells, located in the skin near the site. Wood: glossy; texture until slightly staggered; structure, slightly uniform; weight and hardness moderate; strength; great. Good veneer peeling performance; strong grip nails, must first punch; good adhesive properties. Not decay. Slow drying, good quality. Air-dry density 0.72g / CM3. Wood Uses: Suitable for engineering structures, heavy construction, joinery, plywood, furniture, moldings, decorative veneer, cabinets, vehicles. Alternative oak.
